Types of soccer gloves for goalkeepers

Tue Jul 27, 2010 2:16 am by soccerball

Which type of soccer gloves would you guys recommend for goalkeepers who are getting ready to play professional matches? I am thinking Nike makes the best soccer gloves than Adidas...I could be very wrong though. Twisted Evil Laughing

The United States soccer team is better than England

Sun Jul 18, 2010 11:51 am by anony

Based on what I saw in South Africa, I think the Yanks are better than the Three Lions...USA plays the game with enough speed and their midfielders are strong too...what was Wayne Rooney able to do during South Africa 2010? He did not even score a goal

Hahaha...lo...

Pressing soccer or football and its value

Sun Jul 04, 2010 10:38 am by GHball

I find pressing football to be very exciting. Midfielders, strikers and defenders come together to support themselves and create chances. When midfielders press forward, center forwards or wingers are able to shoot the ball and put goalkeepers in trouble. I think the German national team plays the best pressing soccer and we all saw it during South Africa 2010...Argentina could not handle them. :t...

Soccer formations and the tactics to use

Sat Mar 27, 2010 7:12 pm by soccerball

If you were a coach and wanted to win many games in a season, what tactics would you develop to play? The 4-4-2 soccer formation or the 4-3-3 soccer formation. Would you rely on just attacking football formations in order to win many games?

Powerful soccer scissor kick

How would you guys execute your powerful soccer scissor kicks. I personally wait for a simple chance to see if the ball will be in the air before hitting it. It always helps to do it that way.

Midfielder or Striker position?

Wed Mar 17, 2010 7:36 pm by soccerball

I think I would rather favor a midfield position as opposed to a striking position. No problems will be encountered by me if I have to play to handle both positions in a team when injuries emerge. Attacking soccer players could handle numerous roles.

Will England get far in South Africa?

Thu Mar 18, 2010 1:20 pm by soccerball

Now, David Beckham is hurt and cannot feature for England in South Africa when the fifa world cup is in session. There will be big troubles for England and I don't think that they will get far. The tournament is being played in Africa but it's not going to be easy for thee big teams. The Three Lions need a backup quickly...disaster ahead...USA needs to hold the group. Goalkeeping and keeping clean sheets

Tue Mar 16, 2010 2:32 pm by soccerball

If you were a goalkeeper, what would you do to avoid messing up a clean sheet? I think goalkeepers need to have central defenders ahead of them all the time so that they can parry some balls. Making saves alone cannot solve the problems of a goalkeeper who enjoys goalkeeping.

Fundamental skills for dribbling when playing soccer

Mon Mar 15, 2010 9:14 pm by soccerball

What are some of the most fundamental skills which enable soccer players to dribble on the field? I think the crossover is one of the fundamental dribbling skills because of the way it's so easy to do. Cool
