What are some of the most fundamental skills which enable soccer players to dribble on the field? I think the crossover is one of the fundamental dribbling skills because of the way it's so easy to do.

The elastico is one cool dribbling move. I agree that the crossover is one of them. Ricocheting a soccer ball on a wet field is not an easy thing though. But I will rather do a flip flap than waist my time on any other type of dribbling technique.
